Taiwan - Day 4
Breakfast at Melange Cafe once more!!!!

thick chunk of meat again
no matter it is beef or ham

macaroons too delicate for me to gobble down
& it is gone before I know it hahah

pretty tea set

all neat & organised to give every customer their best service

next, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
it is a famous tourist attraction where there is a 'change of guards' ceremony
if I remember correctly, it will take place hourly, but dont be late!!
the ceremony waits for no one as it is not exactly a performance.
people just find the accuracy of the drill very fascinating & I am one of them

it goes without saying that you have to climb that flight of stairs =p
the ceremony takes place in this building and lasts for roughly 10 mins

once done, we head off to our main focus of the day;
Tamsui's Gold Coast!!

streets of Tamsui District
full of shops that goes without saying

rare occasion of wearing my geeky sunglasses

option to take a ferry across the sea to Bali;
it is not the actual Bali, but 八里 district

Tamsui is known for its cycling activities
& the trail can last you for days if you are up for it
so what are we waiting for??
GO RENT A BIKE!!!!

wind sweeping my hair all the way back

TienBoon; ready for more adventure

and.... what do we have here?
that is a driving institution & I'm curious of their driving skills

compared to Singapore, the students learn driving by themselves
Own Time Own Target, Carry On~~
you are on your own now & I think it is quite hard

& so we've reached Tamsui Fishermen's Wharf
spotted some fresh-grad students snapping away memories
that they can all indulge in enjoyable recollection of happy times in school

we've arrived at the pier...

& stylo-milo-looking dogs strolling down their project runway

dogs: "no pictures please~~"

chasing the hotdog

cute doggy doggy!!!

Taiwan girls hanging out

trying to copy other tourists selca, but with a DSLR

at the bridge, you will get to see the horizons and take a good sunset pic if the skies permit

however, the sky is totally covered by the dark clouds by the time we reached the bridge.
then we started to make our way back to avoid the storm or the end of the world.
the annoying thing is that the skies cleared as we are on our way back

featuring TienBoon's sunset photos~~

sunset is turning into end of the world scene!!

I seriously think we need to get back before we get trapped at Fishermen's Wharf

a restaurant that we'll try the next time we go there

sunset is coming back, but we are already halfway back =(

it would be great if we were able to capture sunset at the horizons
awww, better luck next time!!!
