countdown into 2013

the plan was close to no plan at all~
coz I was still planning the night before countdown 31.12.12
a simple plan to meet for lunch in Orchard with no specific time
& a much later plan of dinner + countdown with my poly friends.
so I'm off to sleep thinking that all will set into place when I wake up...
IT DIDNT~~!
last min set 2.15pm & I was the first to turn up *surprisingly*
no idea who is exactly coming... like got mystery guest appearance~!

Review: Skinny Pizza
a very kitchen kinda feel with all the simple tiles look,
eye-catching decals on the wall  + DIY-looking furniture
*seats not as comfortable as they seemed; eat & get out!!
Tables are too cramp if you gona order more than 1 or 2 pizza
waiter didnt foresee that there isnt enough space for all the food
& was slow to respond when we called for them for bill

Must Order: Squid Ink Pizza

Price: $20+ tier
Food: 8 / 10
Variety: 7 / 10
Service: 6 / 10
Ambience: 7 / 10

Fast forward:
- JP got car; we sent PY go home for him to catch a plane to Maldives
- dropped by my house to pick up clothes in case need to bath?
- went over Jiayi's place to check out his cute chihuahua, Honey
- head over secret location to nap awhile before the countdown
- ate dinner & bought some snacks to last through the night!
- had some leisure mahjong & watch countdown on tv to pass time
- welcoming Kaili in the last 5 mins *should have locked her outside*

PS: not to forget Yongsheng is trapped in a bus during countdown
... we are in the last few seconds of 2012!

live life without regrets

i was watching a movie and it sets me thinking what i really want.
these were the exact words quoted from the movie:

'at some point, we have to choose between life and fiction.'
'the two are very close, but they never actually touch.'
'they are two very very different things.'

in my opinion,
fiction depends strictly on how each interprets,
but the magic of life is in the experiences that tag along.

one of my motto in life: live life without regrets
however, the greatest challenge is that all humans make mistakes.
so when i make mistakes, i will tell myself to bravely walk forward
coz every mistake teaches me a new lesson in life.

what is important is thinking of ways to savage the problem
since there is no other ways of going back anymore.
& i cant emphasize the importance of admitting to one's wrongdoings
coz there can be no progress without accepting the fact in the first place.

& so far in my life, i can make do with mistakes that only affect me,
but the mistakes that involves other parties are the ones i cant forget.
it isnt simply just admitting my wrong & asking for forgiveness
coz the bad experience has turned into a bad memory
& that will never go away or at least now in the near future.

i do wish i can turn around a silly mistake of mine into
a story i will always gladly narrate to all listening ears.

I'm sorry.
